What's Happening in 2014?

The Winner Picks Up Her Prize...

November 2014

Our prize draw winner, Jennifer McGrail, popped into the gallery on Sunday to pick up the Christmas Stocking full of lots of handmade goodies. I think that's an 'ear-to-ear' grin! Well done Jennifer!

And The Winner Is... Drumroll Please...

November 2014

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Advent Calendar Trail around Kinghorn on Saturday. Evie Milo at Venue 3 was keeping a tally of visitors and at the end of the day had recorded 302 people through her studio door!

As you know, if you got your stamping sheet stamped at each of our 10 venues, you will have been entered into our prize draw. We all headed to the Station Gallery after shutting up shop and popped open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate another successful event. All the stamping sheets handed in were put into a bag and a wiiner selected at random.

2014 Leaflets back from the printer!

October 2014

Round The Horn Leaflet 20132000 leaflets delivered by the printers today. This year we've used the same format as last year i.e. a four-fold leaflet that includes a new map, all the venue and artist information, lots of images of work and a QR code link to our new interactive online Google map.

2014 Leaflets for Round The Horn

Entry into the prize draw this year will be via a separate stamping sheet that can be picked up at the first venue you visit. We opted for this idea as so many people want to hold onto their leaflets for future reference.

Leaflets will be distributed door to door locally and further afield as well as be available to pick up at certain venues in Kinghorn from the beginning of November onwards.

2014 Leaflet Coming Soon!

October 2014

Our 2014 leaflet for 'Round the Horn at Christmas' is getting printed now! We've always used Levenmouth Printers and they've always done an amazing job. Proofs have been checked and triple checked and hopefully we'll get the completed job back from them next week in time to start distribution. We're getting 2000 leaflets printed this year as we're hoping to reach out locally as usual, but also a little further affield. Distribution locally in Fife will start at the end of October, so look out for our lovely full colour, four-fold leaflet landing on your doorstep soon.

Different to last year and by popular request, you'll be able to hold onto your leaflets this year as we're introducing a 'stamping sheet'. If you want to do the whole creative trail and enter our prize draw you'll need to pick up a stamping sheet at the first venue you visit and get a different picture stamp from each venue as you go around the trail. You then fill this sheet out and hand it ibn at the last venue you visit.

We will have a few leaflets available on the day (22nd November) as well, so you'll be able to pick one up at any of the venues involved if you don't get one posted through your door.

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside...

October 2014

If you were anywhere near Kinghorn beach on the 11th of October, you may have noticed 'Round the Horn' written in huge letters in the sand - it's amazing what you can do with a rake! Andrew and Rose came up with the idea and it looked amazing - it certainly got a bit of attention on the day and stirred a little panic in a few folk thinking they'd missing Riound The Horn this year.

Don't panic - it was just us doing some press photos on the beach to advertise this year's event.
