Douglas Gray

I was born in Kinghorn, Fife and studied painting at Dundee College of Art and the Royal College of Art in London. I had a one man show at Edinburgh Printmakers in 1990 and recently in 2013, put on an exhibition about Industry at Kinghorn Station Gallery. I am still involved with printmaking. My work is in many public and private collections at home and abroad.

My subject matter is inspired by the towns, coasts and seas around Fife. However my most recent project is a series of paintings based on the ‘Temptations of St. Antony’, brought up to date with a few ideas of my own.
